"Our goal is to honor those that have come before us and serve as an example of excellence for those that will follow us"
The Seminole Police Department Honor Guard is comprised of a group of law enforcement professionals that have shown the highest of qualities amongst their peers.
Composed 100% of volunteers, our members are carefully screened for their honor, commitment, dexterity, and dedication. Only those persons who are highly motivated and maintain exceptionally high standards of conduct and show aptitude for ceremonial duty are likely to be considered.
The primary role for our honor guard is for all fallen police officers, military personnel and other civil servants.
The honor guard may also serve as the "presenting colors" by displaying and escorting the United State of American and Seminole Tribal Flag on ceremonial occasions at official state, local or requested community events.
The Seminole Police Department Honor Guard has had the pleasure and honor to represent not only the Seminole Police Department but also the Seminole Tribe of Florida at the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Ceremonies in Washington D.C.
